NEW TRAINING COORDINATORS' EMAIL DISTRIBUTION LIST

A significant portion of the time of any emergency response group is
spent developing, delivering and participating in training. Different groups
have different available resources, so why not share your ideas, tools,
courses, etc. with each other? In order to facilitate this, an email
distribution list has been set up for all of the training coordinators
in SAR Alberta.

Thanks to Brett Wuth for providing his computer expertise - now it's
up to the rest of us to use it!

The list should be used to convey information about upcoming training
events, course or training standards development, training resources or
other training related issues. An updated list will also be distributed
to the members on a regular basis that will provide details on the training
contacts for each organization.
You can get on the list in one of two ways:

1. By being listed as your team's training contact.
Check out your team's membership record at http://www.saralberta.org/groupmap/groups.html
If you aren't already listed as the "Training E-Mail" contact, send an
update to wuth@acm.org

2. By adding yourself to the list manually.
Visit http://castrov.dyndns.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/sara-traincoords
and follow the instructions under "subscribing".

Once you're a member of the list, you can join or start the discussion
by e-mailing sara-traincoords@castrov.cuug.ab.ca

SARA HAPPENINGS SUBMISSIONS

Our regular publication date for mailings of SARA Happenings is the
middle of each month. I would appreciate your submissions be sent as plain
text rather than containing special formatting, which only creates problems
in assembling the newsletter -- thanks. Please note that the deadline for
material is the 12th of each month.

Does your group have an event posting for the SARA Happenings mailing?
If so, please send information 1-1/2 months prior to the dates you wish
advertised. It will then give ample time for those reading it to respond.
Please send all material to the editor; Chris Hoare at choare@telus.net
