Incident Command Course Level 200
Jan 7th and 8th, 2006 in Red Deer
Pre req. - ICS Level 100
Also must be an Active SAR Manager or have the potential to be used as such.

Red Deer SAR will be hosting an Incident Command Level 200 crs in Red
Deer. This is a two day course and the persons taking this course are
expected to be active SAR managers.

As of now I am going to guess I have approx. 10 spots on this course and
it will be first come first served. If you apply and have ICS level 100
; that's means you have written a test.

This is a funded course so is not cost to you and is also an
experimental course to see how well it goes and to have the Alberta Gov.
monitor this to determine the need.
At this time I do not believe that any of your costs are covered but the
cost and material are free.

So if you qualify and have the 100 please get back to me right away.
If you do not have the ICS 100 I can supply you with the electronic book
and test and you may bring this test to the course to be marked. It is
an open book test of course.

Bob IRWIN of Red Deer SAR will be the Inst.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Early 2006 I will be distributing the ICS100 to all Training
Coordinators in all registered SAR groups and they can administer this
course and test to all members in their group. I will supply the answer
sheet to the TC and a list of persons who complete this test are to be
forwarded for their certificates. MOre on this process as we set it up.
This test is an open book and can be complete individually or in a group
such as a training evening or group seminar or worked into another
course such as CER.

ICS is the international language in Emergency Response and as such we
will be that second Province in Canada to take this initiative with our
SAR trained volunteers.

Stay Tuned.

Paul
