[SARA-Members] Discount cards/Lead ministry

Dear membership:
1) Discount cards for Camper's Village have been obtain through the efforts of Michelle(SAR Albert Secretary) and with help from others.
The regional directors/deputy directors have committed to contact each of the groups within their region by Nov 10th, 06.  If the director or deputy director has not contacted you by Nov 10th please contact them.
Criteria for obtaining the cards:
 Camper's Village cards have a place for a name and director/deputy director will need a name for each card to be sent out to your group.
There are two other discounts cards that should be arriving within the next week or so and these cards will be sent to the director/deputy director.  The director/deputy will then send these cards out to those who have already submitted their names.  Cards will be sent to the team, not directly to the searcher.
SAR Alberta's commitment is to have these cards in the hands of the searchers prior to Christmas so time is an issue.

2) SAR Alberta has met with the Sol Gen and has prepared a business plan and a budget for SAR Alberta as requested by the Sol Gen's department.  These are preparatory steps that could develop into a Lead Ministry.  There are numerous rumours about what is happening.  To date there have been two meeting with the Sol Gen's department that included the Sheriff's department.  As things develop SAR Alberta will communicate these developments to the membership in a timely fashion.  Please be patience.
