[SARA-Members] EMA Training Grants for 2006-2007 (course delivery in 2007-08)

Hello everyone!

 

Information on the EMA Training Grants for 2006-2007 (for training to be
delivered by May 31, 2008) has been posted on the SAR Alberta website
www.saralberta.org

 

This includes the list of courses submitted by SAR Alberta (on your
behalf based on your responses to Paul Olmstead in Nov 2006), the grant
guidelines, and the application form. 

 

YOU MUST STILL APPLY FOR THE GRANTS THROUGH YOUR HOSTING MUNICIPALITY or
else you will not be eligible for funding.

 

Instructions:

 

1)   Review the list of courses for your group.  Contact Paul Olmstead
immediately if you have any concerns.

2)   Contact your hosting municipality and ensure that they meet the
criteria for hosting municipality (as outlined in the guidelines).
NOTE: Your hosting municipality may require time to review your
submission and approve it through their means (i.e. council meeting).   

 

NOTE: Because of scheduling delays, it is advised that you contact your
host municipality ASAP to catch their Feb meeting dates.

 

3)   Complete the application as instructed.

 

Please communicate with each other and your SAR Alberta representative
to coordinate the training delivery dates and available spots so that
the $$ are maximized within your region.  A list of SAR Alberta
directors can be found at http://www.saralberta.org/About/Board.html

 

 

Courses should be posted to the SAR Alberta training calendar at
http://our.calendars.net/sar-alberta/saralberta/    If you need help to
post information, please let me know.
