It is time to start thinking about grant funding needs from AEMA for the
2009/2010 year ( training to be conducted between April 1 2009 and March
31 2010). Monica and I met with AEMA representatives last week, and I
now need some ideas, information from each team by September 30th.

 

1)      What is your teams priority for training for that funding
period? What can be done on a regional basis to effectively utilize the
limited funds?

2)      In order to receive the funding, teams must have a municipality
apply on your behalf. This is the only way funding can be received under
this program, and will not change for this year. Is the municipality you
have been matched with in the past the best one for you to work with? Is
there a better match? Remember that it must be a municipality UNDER
20,000 population to be able to participate.

Please reply with this info as soon as you can so we can meet with AEMA
again and move this forward.
