This was sent via VP Bev Sliger FYI Michelle<br><br><br><br>For those of you with nothing to do this weekend <div><br></div> <div>Kananaskis Celebrates</div> <div> </div> <div>A helicopter sling rescue demonstration and free family fun in a provincial park: What better way to celebrate Alberta Parks' 75th anniversary?</div> <div>To join the party, head to Bow Valley Provincial Park's Willow Rock Campground just north of the junctionof Trans-Canada and Hwy 1X on Sunday from 10am to 3pm</div> <div>Conversation officers plan to demonstrate a helicopter sling rescue at about noon. At 1pm, the park's interpeters plan to give an entertaining show at the amphitheatre about local wildlife and plants</div> <div>Throughout the day there will also be demonstrations of bear-monitoring techniques, many interactive displays and exhibits</div> <div>All of this will be topped off with a free BBQ lunch of hot dogs chips and cotton candy from 11am to 3pm with draw
