<DIV>&nbsp;<BR> Greetings<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<BR> A SAR Alberta strategic planning session was recently held on&nbsp;May 9, and communication was identified as a top priority - this&nbsp;should not be a surprise to anyone<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<BR>Jan Hurl and myself have been tasked with a communication project to improved the flow of information out to everyone. As&nbsp;you know, a lot of times there is a breakdown in communications&nbsp;<BR> along the way, so we are proposing that <STRONG>WHAT IF</STRONG> <U>every team&nbsp;member</U> on <U>every team</U> in the province provided SAR Alberta with&nbsp;their email addresses. Then the information could actually get&nbsp;to everyone. The information could include a quarterly&nbsp;newsletter, SARA Happenings, stats, conference info, training&nbsp;info and the list goes on and on.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<BR>&nbsp;SAR Alberta<BR>- 38 teams with approximately 1500 professional volunteers<BR>- 17 associate members<BR>- removing the "what is SAR Alberta doing for me" by being able&nbsp;to communicate with every volunteer in the province and letting&nbsp;them know what we are doing and what's happening<BR>- Being able to not have communication an issue within the SAR Alberta community - <STRONG>PRICELESS<BR></STRONG>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<BR>We have already had some teams provide us their individual&nbsp;members email addresses - can we count on your teams support in&nbsp;putting the communication issue to bed.....&nbsp;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<BR>Rodney Dietrich<BR>SAR Alberta - Treasurer<BR><A href="mailto:accountinggod@shaw.ca">accountinggod@shaw.ca</A><BR>&nbsp;</DIV>
