My objectif is to use the tc65T module as a GPRS modem for a CAN gateway, with rs-232 as the connecting serial beetween them. But first i just want to "turn on" the modem, this is, connect it to my notebook and download some java programming experiments. I?m using a notebook with vista and, obviously, without any serial rs-232 connection available. So i?m trying to use a USB-rs232 cable as a complementary connection to the rs232 cable that is already available with the product. So, very basic first question: 1- i have all the necessary software and hardware, this is, all the SDK related software (including the IDE and MES ). I?m not able, until now, to make a connection to the modem. Is it really possible to connect and download .jar and .jad files to the module through USB-rs232 connected to rs232 connected to modem? Thank you :) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://castrov.dyndns.org/pipermail/dev65/attachments/20090624/237556ee/attachment.html
