MANTRACKER; THE CHASE IS ON
The Bonterra Production company who produced the show for Outdoor Life Network, calls it "a gritty adventure series that pits an expert tracker against two weekend warriors in a chase through the wilderness."
CTV Media says "Get ready for the ultimate cat and mouse chase through the Canadian Wilderness"
The "prey" take off into the bush. How they escape is up to them. This isn't about rules or money -- just bragging rights. The prey are looking for glory and the Mantracker is looking for them.
Throughout each half-hour reality episode, a pair of perfect strangers from different walks of life team up and attempt to outwit and outrun Mantracker to the finish line. For an adrenaline-charged 36 hours, the pairs travel through extremely difficult terrain including Alberta's foothills. The Prey has a head start -- but Mantracker has a horse -- and these adventurers have a target on their backs every step of the way.
Show premieres on Wednesday, April 12, on the Outdoor Life Network. For more information, check the SAR Alberta website. www.saralberta.org
