[SARA-Members] SAR Training Grants...

We are down to the wire and the pick and choose is just about over.

So far I have heard from 16 groups. 

I have had NO course requests from the following ;

Rocky
Red Deer
Didsbuury
Grande Prairie
Peace River
Lesser Slave
Bonnyville
St. Paul
Whirecourt

I have done the math and with the requested courses to date I am at 
$158.000.00 out of $150.000.00 so I will have to pare down a few 
requests and make room for any of the above mentioned groups if I hear 
from them yesterday?

There are allot of requests for Man tracking and that by far eats up a 
third of the grant money - 11 courses so far but I may have to limit 
that and I will try to be geographic about it.

I have two SAR managers courses and NO SAR fund Inst. course hosted so 
far.  One would be nice and I think 2 SAR managers is lots for now.

I am also looking for a central location to host the CER Inst. recert 
weekend and the course is typically held in Red Deer as this is central 
for travel and budgets.  See me on that


Thank you all for the patience and the attention to detail and providing 
information on short notice.  Next year I am hopping that we can have 
more heads up and deal with this at a Prov meeting prior to any grant 
notification.

I will attempt to deal with your email this week but please send them 
regardless if you do not hear from me in the next few days.  The week is 
sullen as one year is about to pass and I may take a couple days off.
