Please forward your EMA grant course requests to Paul using the attached form.  Let me know if you need any assistance regarding this.  We do not have the grant money at this point in time but want to be prepared should we receive some again.  Thanks for your help with this.  Michelle

  Course Training Request for courses
    
  March 2008 thru March 2009  
 
 
 Fill out the following form if your group wishes to participate in the Grant Program to fund training course.
 
 
 This is a tentative request and no grant funding has been secured at this time.  If the grant becomes available then your request will be forwarded.
 
 
 Additionally please list the desired course that has been offered in the recent past for SAR Alberta training.
 
 
 New and older course will be considered, however the criteria is that they must uniformly benefit the Province as a whole and specialized courses are not presently on the list.  
 
 
 A list of current and new courses will be placed on the SAR Web site in November.
 
 
 Course Rules
 
 
 1.  All courses will be approved by the EMA Province of Alberta  before they are offered.
 2.  A group who requests a course will not necessarily be  guaranteed that course.
 
   A  requested course when approved will be posted on the SAR Alberta Web  site on a Course training list.
  
   Each  group that is approved MUST apply to their local Municipal  Representative for their funding.
  
   Once  a course has been approved and placed on the list an additional or  different course cannot be applied for.
